In the State of Pennsylvania, aspiring Licensed Professional Counselors are required to complete 3,000 hours of clinical supervision.  A minimum of 1,500 of those hours must be completed under the supervision of a Licensed Professional Counselor.  That's where EmpowerMind Education and Consultation, LLC comes in to help!

Dr. Kelly is a board-certified Licensed Professional Counselor who is trained to offer clinical supervision for up to six (6) Pennsylvania-based supervisees at a time.  Her clinical supervision services are offered virtually in both individual and group modalities. 

 

Dr. Kelly has worked within the field of counseling since 2017 and has experience working with clients in nonprofit, intensive outpatient/partial hospitalization, as well as private practice settings.  Clinical issues she has proficiency in include mitigation and prevention of acute and chronic mental illness, grief, trauma, intimate partner and domestic violence, suicidality, as well as infertility.  Her primary treatment modalities include CBT, ACT, and DBT, and she has had extensive training in animal-assisted psychotherapy, culture-centered disaster mental health counseling, trauma-informed care, clinical supervision, as well as sexual and domestic violence.  She is also presently pursuing credential courses in neuroscience as well as trauma and resilience.
